As in other parts of the franchise, the gameplay is divided into two parts: global and tactical. You will have to act underground. Instead of a stationary base, you will have at your disposal a unique ship "Avenger", which is a base in itself, headquarters, a scientific laboratory and a workshop at the same time. You can choose where to strike and where to go for special operations.
Five different classes, each with its own unique characteristics and complement each other. There's no one-size-fits-all layout, so you'll be able to choose the best team combinations for each mission. For example, for open spaces, it is better to strengthen the squad with a couple of snipers, but for tight corridors and close-range fights, it is better to choose additional assaulters and a machine gunner.
Guerrilla tactics. The key to a successful operation is secrecy. At the beginning of the mission, you are hidden from the eyes of the enemy, so with the right approach, you can deliver a deadly blow from an ambush.
There are many more enemies, and their capabilities are wider. Advent fighters are as powerful as you, and their abilities can cause you a lot of trouble on the battlefield.
Ability to upgrade your weapons. During the missions, you will be able to get various additions for your weapons: increased magazines, trigger settings, and so on. With their help, you can improve the weapons of your fighters.
A large number of studies. Take trophies from the battlefield and research them in the science lab to get better weapons and armor, new Avenger rooms, secret tactics, and more.
By making connections with the Resistance, you can earn income. You will also have to clear the regions of aliens, freeing them.
Game time is limited. The Avatar project, launched by aliens in XCOM 2 , a torrent that can be downloaded from our site, is constantly being promoted, so keep an eye on its progress and don't let it end or you will lose.
