The crookedly implemented physics of cars and motorcycles discourages any desire to ride them, but the city is very large and the distances are long, so there is no choice. Vehicles can be crashed, repaired, and even upgraded. However, it is not entirely clear why this should be done when the streets are full of intact and powerful cars. Marcus knows what combos are and can learn new hand-to-hand combat techniques. Naturally, like any decent cop, he actively uses a wide variety of weapons. Interestingly, as you progress through the game, our hero "grows" to a detective of the 1st rank. The higher the status of the character, the greater the choice of weapons and the fleet of vehicles.

From the previous part, not only the open world remained, but also the reputation system "good cop" - "sing cop". Of course, it's easier to be a drink, and career growth is faster. Apparently, the American police are also familiar with the term "quarterly plan". Otherwise, how to explain the possibility of framing innocent citizens by throwing drugs into their pockets right on the street?
The notorious interrogation system in practice looks very mediocre. You can, twisting the suspect's hands behind his back, hit his head against a car, garbage can or wall. Or, if desired, break a glass display case with it. But the same information can be obtained "in the old fashioned way" by simply politely asking for help.
