To the Moon

To the Moon is a deeply emotional story told through the lens of an adventure RPG, where players follow Drs. Rosaline and Watts working for an agency that specializes in creating artificial memories. The doctors' task is to fulfill the last wish of a dying man, Johnny, who dreams of going to the moon, although he himself does not understand why this wish seems so important to him. Traveling through Johnny's memories, the doctors learn about his life, love, dreams, and regrets, trying to find a key moment that will allow them to rewrite his life story so that his dream becomes "Reality".

The game offers a unique gameplay where instead of traditional battles or riddles, the focus is on exploring memories and building a coherent story. As the doctors move back in time, through later and earlier periods of Johnny's life, players witness his relationship with his wife River, who suffered from Asperger's syndrome, and the impact this has on their shared lives.
