Through the Woods

The plot of the computer novelty "Through the Woods" is based on the Scandinavian legend of Old Eric, who lives in the thick of the forest and kidnaps not quite obedient children. Since this story is perceived by adults in their homeland as a fairy tale, this was the reason for using its plot to create virtual reality. The gamer will have to try on the role of a desperate mother and search for a lost child in the dark and desolate forest abode of Old Eric... It should be noted that the project will be released at the beginning of next year, it will undoubtedly please fans of psychological horrors. It is being prepared by the Norwegian studio Antagonist, which is currently actively attracting fans of the novelty through Kickstarter.

According to the developers of the computer novelty, in order to create the most realistic dark forest, they used a well-thought-out sound design that allows you to create the effect of immersion in the forest thicket. In addition, the plot story promises to be very bright and deep, since it is based on children's impressions of the dark forest, children's direct perceptions and fantasies about mysterious and incomprehensible sounds coming from the depths of the impenetrable thicket.
To make the game's plot even more engaging, the developers used dynamic storytelling. This means that the storyline will depend entirely on the player's actions and decisions. Such an approach, according to the creators, will significantly add realism to the game and diversify the plot. By the way, if players think that they can protect themselves from the terrible creatures of the dark forest with an arsenal of weapons, they are mistaken. The player's only defense will be... a pocket flashlight - with the light from which you can drive away dangerous forest creatures.
