The Hive

Many experts refer to The Hive as a strategy game. But this cannot be done unequivocally - the game is quite original and interesting, the developers managed to create a truly original product. Unlike most strategy games, where you have to be a general, a king, or the head of some kind of production, in The Hive you will control insects instead of people. In fact, this game is an analogue of an anthill, where there are many different insects, each of which has its own functions and abilities. The basis is made up of workers capable of performing various tasks, and the queen is in charge of everything, who regularly lays eggs, continuing life in this anthill.

Despite the originality of the plot, the game has a lot of standard moments inherent in most strategies. You will directly direct life in the anthill - give orders, provide the necessary conditions for the life of various individuals to take their course. The main task is to make sure that your colony thrives and everyone is busy.
As for the military component, it is implemented in a special way. In your colony, there are insect soldiers, whose task is to protect other inhabitants, and not only from enemies, but also from various threats. Therefore, various natural disasters will regularly occur, there will be attacks by insects from another hive and even all kinds of monsters that live in the depths of the earth. Therefore, you will have to think over your own strategy for each time, otherwise your colony will fall under the blows of enemies.
The gameplay takes place in real time. There are just a huge number of insects in The Hive - all so different, bright and unusual. You will be able to independently develop your wards, improve their skills, even equip them.
At the beginning of the game, you have very few resources at your disposal, but as your colony grows, so will the supply of resources. The main thing is to use them as rationally as possible and then you will be able to achieve the prosperity of your colony.
