The recently concluded truce between the military and the main groups of the Zone turns out to be a trick on the part of the command - special forces units are preparing to carry out a series of pinpoint strikes and destroy the main bases of the stalkers. When Bagryantsev finds out about this, he informs about the impending strike of one of his acquaintances merchants so that he notifies the stalkers.

Such a decision forces Bagryantsev to save himself in the Zone - the military prosecutor's office begins an investigation against him. Nevertheless, given that the sergeant has enough friends among all the groups, he will not feel lonely - except that the bandits do not care and they do not mind killing a soldier purely out of a sense of revenge.
