Degtyarev's goal is the secret organization behind the Gladiator project. The creators of this project started a rumor that the one of the stalkers who finds the entrance to the secret zone will be able to rule the world, but so far this is just a bait, because of which stalkers die by the dozens. To counter the threat, even loners begin to unite in alliances, but still the stalkers lose the fight against an unknown enemy. Instead of his squad, Degtyarev goes to the Zone to find the organizers of the "Gladiator" and find out what is really happening.

According to fans and critics, the gameplay in the mod turned out to be extremely successful, as it organically combines a variety of actions.
