The game borrowed its name from the physical term "singularity", so its genre is a sci-fi shooter with elements of horror and survival simulator. Singularity storyline
Events in the game Singularity, which we offer to all players on our portal, unfold in two time periods at once. The first period is 2010, the second is 1955, and there is only one place - a remote abandoned research complex located somewhere in Siberia. A feature of the game is that the events in it will take place alternately in these two time intervals at once.
As for the plot, it is related to the events of the Cold War. After the victory over Germany, the United States managed to get all the developments of Wernher von Braun on rocketry and the creation of nuclear weapons. In response, an active atomic program began in the USSR, the purpose of which was to create nuclear weapons and restore parity. One of the geological expeditions aimed at searching for uranium finds a unique mineral called E-99 in Kamchatka, which has incredible properties. In order to study them as much as possible, a whole laboratory complex called "Katorga-12" is being built at the mining site. So the party and the military wanted to get nuclear weapons as soon as possible, research went too fast, in such a case it is fraught with mistakes. And so it happened - due to an error during the experiment, an explosion of monstrous force occurs, burying everyone who worked in this complex, including even auxiliary workers from the guards.
When it became clear to the management that further research could end in an even greater disaster, the project was classified and forgotten about. But almost 50 years later, during the passage of the American satellite over the territory of Kamchatka, it recorded a release of radiation. Secretly, the US command sends a detachment of marines there. Arriving at the site, the Marines discover that the base has long been inhabited by terrible creatures that appeared as a result of mutations under the influence of radiation, and after some time they are somehow transported to 1953.
Soon the reason for such time travel becomes known. It turns out that Katorga-12 also carried out time-related research and scientists managed to assemble a promising model of a mobile time converter. It allows you to travel in time, and for different chronological intervals. It is this MVP that becomes the main weapon and task of the player - with its help, you can not only use various items, including from the past and from the future, but also change time periods. This is the only way you can prevent the catastrophe that is already coming..
