Plot and gameplay
Our story follows Galactic Defense Force agent Jack Redshot, also known as "The Goose". During the standard round, he receives a distress signal about the ongoing invasion of the planet Carcosa. His superiors instruct him to investigate the attack, as well as safely bring the royal family back to headquarters.
As expected, Goose is ambushed on his way to the planet, causing him to make an abrupt crash landing. In true video game style, this somehow leaves few resources at his disposal. Now, isolated from his allies, he seeks to successfully complete a mission against mysterious enemy forces.
Here you will face countless bombardments of enemies. To fight, you are provided with a wide range of weapons and equipment, each serving a specific purpose. They range from pistols, shotguns, and rocket launchers to energy blasters and flamethrowers. All of them are absurdly fun to use, and most importantly, they are well controlled.
The ability to slow down time provides a huge strategic advantage. However, using time drains your stamina, you need to have the means to use it wisely. If you let it tick for too long, you'll be exhausted and vulnerable, so you won't be able to avoid enemy attacks.
