On a roll

Very, very soon, all fans of roller sports will finally be able to see a completely unique simulator called On a roll, which is dedicated to roller skating and performing all kinds of tricks on them. The game is being developed on an initiative basis by enthusiast Jelle Audanaren, who is a big fan of roller sports. For more than four years, Audenaren has already managed to create the gameplay of the game, several demo videos, and also started a successful crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the further development of his project. It is not yet possible to download On a roll via torrent, but we will tell you some details of the new project and interesting features.

Game world
There is no complete information about the game world of On a roll yet, but in the demo video, the developer demonstrates two ready-made and elaborate locations available for the game. These are a downhill track and a skate park. But Audaren said that there will be many more locations, more than a dozen, and showed a game map on which the rest of the locations are marked. According to him, he tries to recreate the location as realistically as possible, so he spends a lot of time developing each of them and releases it only when you can't find fault with it at all.
Physical model
The released trailer did not answer users' questions, but on the contrary, only increased their number. For example, the most pressing question for players was how realistic the gameplay itself, in particular the tricks, would be. Will the developer be able to make a full-fledged simulator out of On a roll or will it be an ordinary arcade game designed more for entertainment? According to Jelle, he is an opponent of arcade tricks and a supporter of maximum realism, so all the tricks in the game will be developed on the basis of real physics and it will be impossible to do something fantastic from this point of view.
Audanaren also noted that when the game is brought to the final stage of development, gamers will be able to perform almost any tricks (of course, within reason), and also promised that he plans to add a couple of unique feints to the game, invented by him personally and not shown to the general public. Therefore, it is not surprising that a lot of people are already looking forward to downloading On a roll torrent for free, but you will have to wait a little longer until the game is brought to its logical end.
Team members
To date, four roller sports athletes with worldwide popularity have been integrated into the On a roll project. Their names are known to everyone who is fond of roller skates: Francis Ali, Anthony Potier, Manon Derrien and Anthony Finochiaro. This choice of names is not surprising - all these athletes are good friends of Jelle and, according to him, provided him with all possible help in developing the game. But that's not all - Jelle promised that the number of stars will be increased to 15 people and many professional athletes, including Chris Huffey, Airon Feinberg and Brian Shima, have already agreed to participate in the project.
According to the developer, there are many more applicants, but here the issue rests on the budget - about 5000 euros are required to digitize only one athlete, so no more than 15 characters are planned in the initial version of the game. Although, as he admitted, it is quite possible that in subsequent updates you can see new faces.
