The peculiarity of this game is that everything that happens in it is as close to reality as possible. That is, not only in battle you can lose a character - he can also simply die of old age. In this case, all the accumulated experience will be lost. The world around you in the game is also subject to aging - flora and fauna gradually age and die, like all living organisms. To date, the game has already introduced a system of changing the time of day, the climatic component, crafting things and the ability to build fairly large buildings and structures.

The vast outside world of Novus Inceptio is truly amazing – you are free to move in any direction and never know what awaits you there. The total area of the world is still about 600 square meters. Very beautiful green forests, dry deserts, mountains of various shapes and heights, many caves and a lot of other places that will not leave anyone indifferent. At the very beginning of the game, you find yourself alone in a world of wildlife that does not seem friendly at all. The primary task is to build some kind of shelter. But to do so, you need to acquire a sufficient amount of certain resources, which can be found throughout the vast world of Novus Inceptio. Therefore, it is worth immediately going to explore the surrounding space. Everything will come in handy on the farm: various plants, stones, logs, branches, and so on. It is much safer to gather during the day than at night. At night, you will have to run away from wild animals - there will be no time to collect resources. In addition, changeable weather can play a cruel joke on you. In the game, the bright sun can go behind the clouds in an instant and it will start pouring rain. But after such a rain, it will be possible to collect many rare types of mushrooms.
In this game, each hero has his own set of qualities, including endurance, agility, strength, and so on. To level up a skill, you will have to spend experience points. The value of the stat can decrease if you do not use it for a long time, so you need to constantly monitor each of them and keep yourself in shape. This brings Novus Inceptio very close to reality, which is something that many fans of the game like so much.
Regarding the death of a character in the game. As mentioned above, the player can lose his character not only during the battle or if he does not find enough food - there is an aging system. However, in order not to lose precious experience after the death of the character, it is possible to transfer the accumulated knowledge to your clone. The same applies to animals, but they age faster than humans. So, if suddenly you can't defeat some wild animal, you can just wait - the animal will age, its strength and speed will decrease, and you will easily cope with it.
