Plot and gameplay
You put on your favorite green cap, get into your trusty truck, and start the day. Your First Shipment: Bring a Nondescript Box to the Hat Shop. When you hand over a package to an unremarkable local entrepreneur, Mr. Sun, a trio of troublemakers run up to you, steal the box, and escape. You will not tolerate this. You don't disappoint customers. Other deliveries can wait. You must return Mr. Sun's hatbox at all costs.
From humble beginnings as a one-man delivery gang, you'll build an organization of reformed hat thieves to send them on covert and chaotic missions. As you progress, you'll begin curating a closet full of stylish hats, recruiting bumbling brainwashed bandits, and amassing an assortment of weapons, from the practical to the ridiculous. Upgrade your base, team, and tools so you can take on the most dangerous hat heists, and with each successful return, you get closer to bringing the package that started it all back to its rightful home. You'll start with a small base and build it up as the story progresses. Over time, new rooms will open up and you'll learn new abilities, allowing you to expand your team, upgrade your equipment, and maybe even start a couple of extra activities to fill your wallet.
At the beginning of each mission, you choose a staff member to take on the task, equip him, and prepare for the obstacles ahead. Sneak in to escape quickly and cleanly, or fire cannons. You have to collect a lot of loot and catch new recruits. After all, this is a business.
