Massives Avatar is the result of a collaboration between acclaimed director James Cameron and Ubisoft, based on the equally famous film Avatar. Despite the fact that the second part of Avatar is still in the process of being created, Ubisoft decided that it was necessary to start developing a game based on the film now and informed Cameron that they were ready to invest a large amount in the development. Cameron's involvement in the development of Massives Avatar is quite expected - according to the publisher, the game plans to reveal the story of Pandora and many characters in more depth.

One of the divisions of Ubisoft, the Massive Entertainment studio, is responsible for the development of the game. The developers have announced that the game will be created on the Snowdrop engine, or rather, on its improved version. Since the work on the project is just beginning, the release of the game is possible no earlier than 2018 - then everyone will be able to download Massives Avatar from the torrent for free. Just by this time, apparently, Cameron will release the second part of his blockbuster, which will further fuel interest in the game.
