Pixel graphics and modest portraits of characters were replaced by Full HD resolution. Although the game has remained in 2D, a huge difference in the quality of drawing and animations can be seen in any screenshot. Also noteworthy are the high-quality visuals of the re-release. The game received voice acting that was not in the original. With voice acting by professional actors and beautiful animated portraits, classic characters have been given a new lease of life.
Langrisser I follows a young prince, Ledeen, whose house has been invaded by the Dalsis Empire, who seek to conquer the land. The prince will have to go through many trials to liberate his homeland and reclaim the sacred sword Langrisser.
In Langrisser II, the protagonist is Alvin, a guard who finds himself embroiled in a whirlwind of battles between the forces of light and darkness. Which side he joins in the battle between the sacred sword of Langrisser and the cursed sword of Alkhazard is entirely up to you.
