Hotline Miami

Hotline Miami is a two-dimensional action game with a top-down perspective, created by two diligent and gifted developers from the Dennaton Games studio. The world release of this project took place in October 2012. The authors of the game admitted that they found their inspiration in Hollywood crime action movies of the 80s.

The game is set in Miami in the 80s, where neon lights and futuristic vehicles fill the streets of the city. The city is ruled by brutal gangs of assassins, and players will have to get used to the role of one of these gangsters.
The gameplay consists of a series of short missions starting in the protagonist's apartment. He wakes up, receives an assignment from his coordinator over the phone, puts on a mask, each of which provides certain benefits, and sets off on his brutal and bloody mission. The tasks, in the overwhelming majority of cases, are to completely clear the territory of opponents.
The project created by the two developers is an unusual and controversial video entertainment: an action game with a top-down view, the possibility of stealth and a lot of extreme violence.
