New, simplified offensive play: instead of placing all players on a pitch map, as in Tiddlewinx, you can now give the attacking coach more general instructions, such as what to do with the players or how many defenders to put on each post, and then let them figure it out on their own.
The transfer system has received pleasant changes. If you have too many substitutes in your squad after summer transfers, you can now pay intermediaries to sell them for you – for a fraction of the transfer price, of course. This, again, eliminates the monotonous administrative work that was previously required when transferring players.
