Defection

Defection is a classic shooter, but with some twists. First of all, the game has a third-person view, not a first-person view, and a significant emphasis is placed not on firefights, but on close combat. The game has several modes, which bring a pleasant variety to the gameplay: - Skirmish. A "kill them all" mode with only one winner in the final. - Team Deathmatch. The same thing, but not single players, but teams. - Conquest. The team that captures and holds as many key points as possible wins; -Scavenger. Unique skirmish game mode. The only difference is that initially your character does not have a weapon at all and you will need to find it.

📦 Installation:
1. Download and unzip the archive
2. Run the setup file.exe
3. Play

The solution to most problems with launching the game is:
1. Update the drivers on the video card
2. Install Visual C++ and DirectX 11 from the redist folder and make sure that DirectX capabilities (Direct3D, AGP, and DirectDraw) are enabled, if disabled, enable. You can check this in the dxdiag utility
3. If the game still does not start, send bugreport @ netrage to the mail. org screenshot of the error, the latest log file and a txt file with information from dxdiag.
Information for those who create custom servers:
Before starting the game and creating a server, you need to forward port 7777, the Internet is full of information on how to do this.
Here is an example with the tplink router:
1. Go to the settings of the router tplinklogin. net
2. then the Redirection tab -> Virtual Servers
3. Next, click Add
4. in the window that opens,. The service port is 7777, and the IP address can be found through the console with the ipconfig command (IPv4 address)
5. Save
6. Launch the game, create a server, and you're done.
