Cuphead

All fans of old-school American cartoons of the mid-twentieth century will surely be interested in the Cuphead game. This is an interesting and unusual platformer, which is developed individually by the Moldenhauer brothers, who founded their own game studio MDHR. Judging by the screenshots, the guys have done an incredible job - each frame is literally drawn by hand, as it was previously done at the animation studios Fleischer Studios and Walt Disney Productions.

Who or what is Cuphead? It's simple - this is the name of the main character of this platformer, and his name means "Cuphead". Therefore, it should not be surprising that this character has an unusual appearance - his head is really very similar in shape to a mug or a cup.
There are not too many brains in this head - not so long ago, our character argued with the Devil himself and, of course, lost the bet. In order to repay his debt, he needs to slay a large number of various monsters and ordinary enemies by order of Satan, only after that the Devil will forgive him his debt.
Cuphead was first announced in 2014 at the E3 exhibition, although development began back in 2010. The term is long, but you need to understand that the brothers are engaged in the game only together, without outside help. But for the exhibition, they were able to prepare quite a working project, where everyone could fight with one game boss in the role of Cuphead to evaluate the capabilities of the game and its potential. It is not surprising that in 2015 the guys received a special prize in the category "Best Xbox One Game", beating such cult projects as Fallout 4, For Honor and Star Wars Battlefront.
As for the gameplay, nothing specific can be said yet - at the exhibition you could only fight the boss, but unfortunately there was no detailed gameplay test. Apparently, the demo version of the detailed gameplay is simply not ready yet. The same applies to weapons - in the presentation, Cuphead had only one melee weapon and one for ranged combat, although the developers assure that later their character will be armed with a fairly extensive arsenal. It will be possible to download Cuphead torrent for free soon, since the game has already been released for Xbox One, which means that owners of other consoles and PC will be able to enjoy it.
