The dungeon crawler genre expands the boundaries and has now become a dance genre. Crypt of the NecroDancer turned out to be quite chaotic for the developers. It mixes rhythm play styles and roguelike. The basis of the game and its driving force was the music composed by Danny Baranowski, who regularly releases great hits and singles for the games. Visually, the game is a 2D adventure game with a view from above. Control takes place using keyboard keys and a controller. As you play, you'll realize that the set of combat skills changes depending on the soundtrack. With each new level, progress improves, and the gameplay becomes more interesting.

Everything in Crypt of the NecroDancer is subject to music Your opponents are also not lost, and act according to the chosen soundtrack. For example, blue absorber bubbles jump around the level cells, but stop at certain sounds. Green bubbles jump chaotically. Your enemies will be the inhabitants of the dungeon and darkness: bats, clay golems and poisonous snakes. The gamer must feel the rhythm of the music and react to changes in the composition, adjusting the battle tactics to it in time. If you don't do this, then the whole point of the game is lost, the gameplay becomes ridiculous. In addition to physical strength, you have three magic spells in your arsenal: healing (gives 1 heart HP), shackling (enemies stop moving), fire (clears the entire horizon from monsters).
