Assault Android Cactus+ features 25 levels broken down into 5 sectors. At the end of each sector, players will have to fight a boss. The opponents in the game are robots that attack the hero in waves. The goal is to destroy all enemies. Players can choose from 9 available androids with different weapons and skills. Some characters are strong in close combat, others prefer medium distances, and still others are masters of long-range shooting. The game has a normal firing mode and a mode with the use of powerful weapons, which deals more damage, but has a limited time of use. A powerful weapon must be cooled down before it can be reused.

Androids have health measured in 5 points. If the character receives more than 5 hits in a row, he loses consciousness. To raise the android, you need to quickly press the buttons. When dealing damage to an enemy, he can release a power-up, which will temporarily improve the android: increase the speed and reduce the damage taken, make the character temporarily invulnerable or strengthen his weapon. If the player does not have time to pick up a power-up, his properties will change periodically. Bosses have more than one health segment, and the android's battery can only be restored after destroying the boss's health segment. In the event of an android losing consciousness, energy is also lost.
Assault Android Cactus+ offers a variety of in-game bonuses. After completing the level and defeating the boss, players unlock fragments of the musical score, entries of the codex encyclopedia, and gain access to new features in the EX Options mutator store. For the game currency, you can change the appearance, switch to a first-person view, optimize proportions, remove the interface and get many other benefits. All these additional features allow players to customize their gaming experience and make it more unique and interesting.
