If you want to get acquainted with a couple of impressively entertaining old-school role-playing games, then you will surely like this project. The first and second installments were originally released in 2007 and 2008 for mobile devices, and since then, the first game has also seen an iteration on the 3DS. Both of these games have been remade for modern consoles, with new artwork and a visual update, making them fresh for the time being.

If you are familiar with the franchise, then some elements will be familiar to you. The gameplay has pretty basic mechanics, which doesn't make them tedious. Elemental magic and basic tactics are much more fruitful here than in modern games. You can craft and upgrade rings that allow party members to learn additional magic spells.
The second part follows the formula of its predecessor, offering a new Break system that allows you to learn and perform powerful attacks when the gauge is filled appropriately.
